SPEAK OUT! & LOUD Crowd 2022 Grant Recipient

The ASU Communication Disorders Clinic recently received a grant from the Parkinson Voice Project to provide training for our Speech-Language Pathologists and SLP graduate students related to two programs (SPEAK OUT! and LOUD Crowd) that have shown success in preserving vocal function in patients with Parkinson’s disease.

The Parkinson Voice Project is a nonprofit organization founded by Samantha Elandary, MA, CCC-SLP, that seeks to preserve communication and speech in individuals with Parkinson’s disease.

Kudos to Clinical Educators Rebecca Smith and Emily Hornback for securing this opportunity for our clients and students.  We’re excited to bring these programs to the High Country!
