Master of Science in Athletic Training

App State's Athletic Training graduate program prepares students to become engaged members of a health care team and community, who have the ability to think critically and reflectively and communicate effectively in a changing health care market.

Master of Science in Occupational Therapy

App State's new Master of Science in occupational therapy (OT) program aims to prepare students to become certified occupational therapists in North Carolina, particularly in the western region of the state. The program will meet the rigorous accreditation requirements of the American Council for Occupational Therapy Education. Applications for the first cohort will open in Fall 2023.

Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology

Appalachian's Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology is devoted to the study of human communication and associated disorders and prepares clinicians for work in a variety of settings – schools, hospitals, nursing homes, community clinics, home health and private practice.
